Does anyone know of any function you can use on cool edit to quieten the low end of samples? At the moment, I'm trying to add a vocal sample over a beat I've created. The vocal sounds nice but it's got a few drums and some quiet piano underneath it which clashes with the rest of the track. What I'd like to so is get rid of as much of that as poss, leaving almost an a capella vocal. I'm guessing this is pretty impossible but if any one can help me out, it'd be much appreciated, nice one....

Wickedy man, whassup?!!! ok, the way ive done it in the past, is if you go to..... 1. amplitude - dynamics processor - then choose vocalcomp - fast attack
2. filters - graphic equalizer - lo-fidelity
3. filters - scientific filters - press ok
4. repeat - amplitude - dynamics processor - then choose vocalcomp - fast (not fast attack), and that will really bring up the vocals
5. filters - graphic equalizer - bright and punchy
i hope that helps geez, peace vice
